This comes on the heels of blue-chip running back Cedric Baxter Jr’s decommitment Thursday evening—for those keeping track at home, that’s two commitments and two decommitments (so far) this week.
Pittman joins defensive ends Gabriel Harris and Lamont “Boots” Green, Jr. as early members of Tribe 23.
The Seminole staff offered Pittman in June and his reaction was touching:
“I received the offer from Coach [Marcus] Woodson, and it’s really a blessing. I really like the position this is putting me in—it’s showing that I have a worth of living, and it’s giving me the ability to show [others] they can do they same—not many people from my city usually do these things, but I feel like it can really help them mentally.”
The Panama City product chose Florida State over offers from the Florida Gators, Maryland Terrapins, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, and UCF Knights, among others.
