Jaelin Howell, Malia Berkely, Emily Madril and Yujie Zhao were all named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region first team, with Cristina Roque being named to the second team.


Rain in Tallahassee forced yesterday’s FGCU vs. FSU series opener to be called in the top of the fifth. Florida State Seminoles baseball will kick off the remaining four innings with a 2-1 lead.


Florida State placed six of its softball players on the 2021 All-ACC Teams — Devyn Flaherty and Kathryn Sandercock on the first team. Caylan Arnold to the second and Dani Morgan and Kalei Harding named to the third. Flaherty and Harding were also named to the ACC’s All-Freshman team.

Along with three-consecutive All-ACC first teams, it’s the second straight time, Sydney Sherrill has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year after logging a .977 fielding percentage with just two errors in 32 ACC games.

Florida State junior golfers Beatrice Wallin and Amelia Williamson are in a tie for third in individual standings and the FSU women’s golf team is in first place in team standings with one round remaining to be played in the NCAA Louisville Regional Championship.

Florida State University’s Presidential Search Advisory Committee will conduct the first round of interviews with nine candidates for university president Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15. The Presidential Search Advisory Committee Meeting will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, May 14. The meeting and interviews will continue at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 15. The meeting and all interviews will be live-streamed at
