Nole News: FSU recruits show off white helmets

Florida State Seminoles football has dominated recruiting headlines since midnight hit on Tuesday, entertaining recruits as the open recruiting period kicks off. Today, recruits got photoshoots in what appears to be the first-ever appearance of white FSU helmets, while the staff preps for the megacamp this weekend featuring programs from all over the country.

Florida State’s historic 2021 golf season came to an end on Tuesday with the Noles falling to No. 3 Pepperdine in the NCAA Quarterfinals, 3-1-1. John Pak was named the 2021 Haskins Award winner, an honor given to the most outstanding male collegiate golfer with previous winners including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and many more.

Pak is the first Seminole to bring home that honor.

Florida State University junior Abril Hunter is the latest FSU student to receive the Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which includes up to $19,000 of academic assistance over two years and a 10-week, paid summer internship with NOAA.
