The Florida State Seminoles football program is on absolute fire as another blue-chip lineman has committed to Florida State, this time in the form of four-star OL/DL Antavious “Tae” Woody. The big man joins FSU by way of Lafayette High School in Lafayette, Alabama.
Woody ranks 244th in 247’s Composite Rankings, 11th as interior offensive lineman, and 12th within the state of Alabama. Antavious chose FSU over offers from the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Tech, Kentucky Wildcats, and many others.

Woody plays both ways in high school starring at defensive end and offensive tackle for the Lafayette Bulldogs. His recruiting profiles have him at 6’3 291lb but he lists himself as 6’5;’ 291lbs so he might’ve done some growing this off-season.
The first thing you notice when watching Woody is that he plays to the echo of the whistle and that’s something you just can’t teach. The second is the obvious athleticism as he pursues ball carriers from sideline to sideline.
Woody is the 14th recruit to join #Tribe22 which ranks No. 5 nationally and No. 1 in the ACC.
