Recruiting:
FSU has the top-ranked class in the state of Florida and in the ACC:
It’s only June but FSU is off to its best recruiting start in years.
Four-star defensive lineman Trevion Williams committed on Friday.
Four-star offensive lineman Qae’shon Sapp committed on Saturday.
And he was followed by three-stars Kanaya Charlton and Bishop Thomas.
It was a massive win on the recruiting trail for FSU this past weekend and the fruits of that weekend can still lead to other commitments as we head into the dead period.
I disagree about classes eventually being 50/50 HS portal but he did make an interesting point about personnel departments:
Every CFB program should already have an NFL style personnel department. A HS recruiting side & a transfer portal side. Draft + FA. Unfair to grade a recruiting class alone. Need to give equal value to transfer portal additions. Not long before additions are 50/50 HS/portal.

Football:
The NCAA is still heavily debating the NIL rules with athletes set to start earning this week.
FSU players have been proactive on twitter about reaching out to potential business partners:

FSU’s special teams was noticeably improved last year; unfortunately kicking was not one of those improvement. Parker Grothaus is hoping to change that:
FSU kicker @parkgrothaus has been putting in work. Hopeful that private training in Naples leads to productive Saturday’s in Tallahassee! #
