Live coverage, updates: Florida State Seminoles football mega camp

We’ll be following along as the Seminoles host dozens of coaches and recruits in Tallahassee

Florida State Seminoles football is hosting its mega-sized recruiting camp today, bringing in dozens of college programs to observe recruits who haven’t gotten the chance to interact in-person with coaches since the early aughts of 2020.

From our piece yesterday:

What is the Sunshine Showcase? Following in the tradition established at Memphis, the mega camp is part of the Coach Mike Norvell Football Camp summer series. The event is open to all “Rising” juniors and seniors. In attendance, will be coaches and staff from over 50 college programs.

“It’s an opportunity to showcase our state,” Norvell said during a youth camp stop in Tampa last month. “These kids have been so limited, and you do not get the spring evaluations. So [on top of that] if we can provide an opportunity for our players in the state of Florida to get that exposure from over 60 colleges from all levels [at our Mega Camp], we’ve accomplished what this is all about.”

We’ll be posting updates in the comment section below, as well as on Twitter, during the entire event.
