The latest edition of our ever-going Florida State football recruiting thread is out, just in time for the latest edition of NoleThruandThru’s Florida State of Recruiting, out today at 8 a.m. talking what could be next on the trail.
Side note: We’ve got a few ideas, but we’re spitballing names around for a recruiting-centric podcast. If you’ve got one, throw it in the comments. Even if it’s bad, it’ll make us feel better about our ideas.
The Triple Option, our show breaking down film of FSU football and Seminoles recruits, welcomed Zach Blostein of Noles247 yesterday to talk about the film of several prospects. This action-packed episode gives an update on where the Seminoles stand while doing what it does best- using film to give an idea of what these kids might bring to FSU. This includes a film breakdown of the most recent commit Jarrale Powers, a high ceiling tight end prospect from Texas.

Softball
Florida State softball announced the addition of Bethany Keen, a transfer from USF, on Wednesday. Keene started all 190 games of her career at USF over four seasons, finishing her Bulls’ career with a .272 batting average with 149 hits, 28 doubles, three triples, 13 home runs and 99 RBI.
All Sports
18 members from the Florida State swimming and diving teams were announced as College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America award winners for the 2020-21 season.
Professors of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology Robert Hickner and Michael Ormsbee will co-lead a multidisciplinary team of Florida State University researchers after receiving a $3 million National Institutes of Health grant to examine how resistance training may help older women struggling with obesity to potentially prevent Type 2 diabetes.
