Florida State (39-10-1) earned the 10th national seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Seminoles are seeking to return to the College World Series in Oklahoma City for the first time since they won the championship in 2018. FSU has 10 College World Series appearances.
The Seminoles will host the Tallahassee Regional at JoAnne Graf Field. The Noles will face Kennesaw State (26-25) of the Atlantic Sun Conference on Friday at 4:30pm (ESPN 3). The other two teams invited to the Tallahassee Regional are Central Florida (39-17-1) from the American Athletic Conference and Auburn (27-22) from the Southeastern Conference. The Knights and the Tigers will face off on Friday at 2pm (ESPN 2).
If the Seminoles win the Tallahassee Regional they will meet the winner of the Baton Rouge Regional that is headlined by the seventh seed LSU Tigers (32-19) of the Southeastern Conference.
