No. 10 Florida State softball (45-11-1) takes on Oklahoma State (48-11) tonight after a 4-3 win in the College World Series in Oklahoma City, OK.
The Seminoles won their first game of the day over Arizona. Florida State started strong with Caylan Arnold in the circle, who landed three strikeouts and was relieved by Kathyrn Sandercock’s amazing display of defensive pitching. The Seminole offense followed suit on performance, converting a 2-0 score in favor of Arizona to 3-2 lead by the sixth inning. Cassidy Davis hit a sacrifice fly to push Kaley Mudge over the plate and set up the match against Oklahoma State. After a thrilling finish and a walk off win, the Noles will return to USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium tonight to face off with Oklahoma Stare in an elimination game. The winner of this game will continue on the quest for the title of World Series Champions.
