Florida State continues its hot recruiting streak on the trail. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller sent out what looks like the official bat signal last night:

Today we see why. Four-star corner-back Omarion Cooper has committed to Florida State.

Cooper at 6’0’ 170 lbs from Lehigh Acres, Florida by way of Lehigh Senior High School is a four-star recruit ranking 271st nationally, 18th at his position, and 40th within the state of Florida in 247’s National Composite Rankings.

Cooper chose Florida State over offers from Louisville, Michigan, Penn State, South Carolina, and Texas. Cooper is the second four-star corner-back to join #Tribe21; the first being Hunter Washington not too long ago.

Cooper is a DB that relies on his instincts and superior closing speed to make plays on the ball; he’s a welcome addition to the class.

Florida State’s 2021 recruiting class now has 11 commitments with four of them being of the blue-chip variety. FSU’s class now ranks 22nd nationally and continues to climb.
